The Middlesex and Hertfordshire Branch is made up of six Sections - Brent and Harrow Section, Ealing, Acton and Chiswick Section, Enfield and District Section, Hounslow and Twickenham Section, North Hertfordshire Section, and Watford and District Section.

The Middlesex and Hertfordshire Branch supports the local community of dentists by holding regular educational and social events. Members and non-members from other areas are welcome to meetings. Members are contacted by email regarding meetings, if you are not receiving meeting details, please contact the Local Services Team. You are also welcome to join the Middlesex and Hertfordshire Facebook group.

Branch Chair

Mike De Nooijer

Mike has been involved with the BDA for over 30 years firstly at Section level and later at Branch level. Mike has also served on the LDC for over 30 years being a past Chair. Mike has completed an MFGDP, PGDip in law and ethics and TPOS two year extended orthodontic scheme. He has a general practice in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, does orthodontic sessions at Lister Hospital and is a current examiner for the NEBDN.

Marion English

Marion is currently Secretary for Middlesex and Hertfordshire Branch and Secretary for North Hertfordshire Section. She has been a GDP in Hertfordshire for many years running a four surgery practice. As a member of Hertfordshire LDC she has set up a dental nurses course at the local postgraduate centre, which she ran successfully for ten years. She has been a trainer on the Eastern region and obtained an MA in Med Ed from the University of Bedfordshire. She volunteered for the Vaccination Programme in Broxbourne, Hertford and Watford.

Marc Friedmann

Marc was elected as Branch Treasurer in 2021, succeeding Richard Elvin. Marc is a past Chairman of Council and Branch President. In his current role, Marc oversees the funding of Branch and Section events, including the Branch Presidential Meeting and Annual Symposium.
