What to expect

Join us as we provide an update on the latest guidance for managing dental trauma in the paediatric patient.

Our speaker, Hannah Walsh, will discuss the appropriate management of dental trauma in a paediatric patients, emphasising when and how to refer patients who suffer from dental trauma. Hannah will also provide an update on the technique of partial pulpotomies and their place in hard tissue injuries.

Meet the speaker

Hannah Walsh 250X250 Hannah Walsh Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry

Hannah completed her Specialist Training in Paediatric Dentistry within Manchester University Hospitals Foundation Trust in 2020, passed her MpaedDent with RCS England and is a registered specialist with the GDC.

She is currently the Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry for Blackpool Teaching Hospitals and also accepts private referrals at the Garstang Dental Referral Practice.

In 2019, she won the Clinical Case Prize by the British Society of Paediatric Dentistry at the annual scientific conference and is currently sits on the British Society of Paediatric Dentistry Executive Committee as the Honorary Secretary. In 2023 Hannah was recruited to the prestigious Emerging Leaders Fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Outside of dentistry Hannah enjoys watching sport, floristry and spending time with her young family.
