What to expect​

This lecture will help delegates gain a better understanding of Zirconia, be confident to interact with their technician in the planning process and ensure that the patients receive well fitting, aesthetic and long-lasting restorations.

  • Explain what the ‘Y’ means and its importance in material selection
  • Awareness of the limitations of Zirconia restorations
  • Aspects of restoration design – both tooth and implant borne
  • How to ensure the accuracy of fit
  • The importance of the requisite adjustment and polishing techniques to avoid material weakening and premature fracture
  • Cementation techniques.
