What to expect
Join us for a lecture on navigating periodontal disease from classification to crown lengthening.
Our speaker, Khurrum Hussain, will provide insights into the clinical examination and diagnostic tools for accurate periodontal disease assessment, differentiating between types and classifications of perio diseases for precise diagnosis and treatment planning. He will also discuss the role of risk assessment and prognostic factors and explore the assessment methods and treatment strategies for crown lengthening procedures. By the end of the lecture, delegates will have an understanding of surgical techniques and considerations involved in crown lengthening.

Meet the speaker

Khurrum is a GDC registered Specialist Periodontist who gained his training at the Eastman Dental Institute. As well as working in private practices across the north, which were winners of the this years ‘Practice of the year’ and ‘Referral Practice of the Year’. He is a Clinical Lecturer for Manchester University and is co-founder of the Institute of Perio-Prosthodontics.
