What to expect
Join us as we review the breadth of restorative dentistry and the techniques we can adopt to help our patients. This will range from maxillofacial prosthodontics to periodontics. It will include information on digital dentistry and advanced surgical techniques.
Our speaker, Sachin Jauhar, will provide an update on current practice and understanding of the role of the Restorative Specialist in diagnosis and treatment planning, covering when to refer patients for specialist level restorative care.
Instead of paying a fee, we kindly request for you to give a donation to the BDA Benevolent Fund.

Meet the speaker
A graduate of the University of Glasgow 2002, Sachin is one of the leading Restorative Specialists in Scotland, he has a wealth of knowledge and experience. His role as a Consultant and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry at Glasgow Dental Hospital and School, involves providing advice and treatment upon referral from dentists. Most of his case load in the hospital involves complex implant dentistry.
His specialist training culminated in him successfully achieving the highest restorative qualification possible - the Intercollegiate Speciality Fellowship in Restorative Dentistry in 2009. Sachin is a registered specialist with General Dental Council (80722) in Restorative Dentistry, Periodontics, Prosthodontics, and Endodontics.
He offers specialist treatment at the Scottish Centre for Excellence in Dentistry, Lansdowne Dental Care and One Dental.
Outside of work he can be found on the golf course currently playing off 4, and spending time with his wife Ingrid, and their three children Rachel, Michael and Emma.
