Introduction
Membership of the British Dental Association conveys certain privileges and benefits as set out below. Such privileges and benefits may be changed from time to time in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of membership.
This document should be read in conjunction with the Articles of Association and the Terms and Conditions of membership (which prevail in the event of any conflict).
Specific regulations and restrictions may apply to the use of certain services and, where applicable, these may be found on the BDA website.
Any references to ‘advice’, ‘support’, ‘information’, ‘guidance’ or ‘representation’, and similar terms in this document should be understood as applying only to UK jurisdictions.
We may record telephone conversations to offer you additional security, resolve complaints, for regulatory compliance and to improve our service standards. Conversations may also be monitored for staff training purposes. You will be alerted to this when you call.

The British Dental Journal (BDJ)
- The BDJ delivered free of charge to one address outside the UK 24 times per year.

One to One support services
Access to one-to-one advice, across a huge range of matters, from a team of advisers with extensive professional experience and expertise. All one to one Advice Services can be accessed by telephone or e-mail, or by appointment at the BDA’s offices, during the Association’s working hours.

The range of one-to-one advice services (‘Advice Services’) available to members in this tier includes the following, subject to the Association’s Policy on the provision of advice to non-salaried members:
