This will include backdated payments to 1 April.
Despite the extremely high levels of dental inflation, this uplift allows for an uplift in respect of practice operating costs of just 3.23%, alongside the DDRB’s recommendation for a 6% increase in dentists’ pay.
We have made clear that this uplift is unacceptable and that the Government cannot expect dentists to prop up the NHS from their own pockets.
This uplift should have been paid from 1 April and we will continue to pursue late interest payments in respect of this delay.
